Rumen Dragiev

My name is Rumen Dragiev; I'm a self-represented artist. Early in my life I developed an interest in fine arts and attended art classes. I'm Bulgarian born, but I left my country at 30 and moved to South Africa, Pretoria Were I've spent many years.7 years ago made another move to London were I'm in Present. Not convinced that the arts could support me in the future, I pursued other career, but painting remained my passion.

I found that by using the palette knife as my only tool while painting gave my oil paintings new life Mastering the use of the palette knife is something else entirely!

techniques include, big strokes created with palette knives, extreme texture with heavy paints,

Intensified vibrant colors, and exaggerated striking effects of lights. My art is spontaneous, original, and very optimistic and this can be seen in all my creative artwork.
