In regard to creating an artwork I like to produce something that the viewer may like to explore or capture his or her interest, so I try and use as much vivid colour and contrast as possible or as much detail as possible for monochrome drawings.
Comments of my work have included varied words and phrases such as "Pretty – "You have got nothing to offer" "Your work is Amazing" – Colourful – "Not interested" - Like uh cool man" - "Scary"- " Grotty" – "Amateur" – "Awesome" – "Pretty Good" "Incredible Detail" "Go away and learn how to paint properly" "Your work is photographic" - "You won't sell your art round here" – "Groovy" – "Your work does not come up to our high standards" - "Wow". So I can see from theses mixed responses that my art won't appeal to all and I don't expect it to, but to someone somewhere it will
My artistic influences are VanGogh, Bob Ross, Samuel Palmer, Jimmy Grassshow, the Pre Raphaelites, the NaÃve painters and some secular renaissance painters
