Fresh Waters
This painting represents revitalization, regeneration and renewal.
The inspiration for this painting I got when I followed the stream to its source at the New Forest. I found a small waterfall on my way. This waterfall was all of about two feet high but I was impressed how bright greens and blossoms colour the water. Waterfall shows up so much better after a shower of rain. Fed by winter rains and melted snow in spring, the waterfall has built up my enthusiasm, inspiring me to paint.

For many years I have been painting landscapes and seascapes. There is something special in nature that motivates me. The nature has given us a lot of gifts that we don't always appreciate, we forget about its beauty, being busy with our lives, relaxing as we look around us and see what we were missing. I like to create paintings that people enjoy looking at them bringing them the feelings of peace, love, happiness, comfort, relief and become like window to some place wonderful.Creating the feeling as if the viewer is inside the picture and can feel the painting – experience the feeling of warm sunbeam on him, feel the fresh breeze, watch the reflection in the water that brings him peace. It is real pleasure for me to portray these feelings through what I paint. There is something that always captures my eye: light passing through the water and the way the water seems to be alive, always different and captivating.Recently I have been traveling and I decided to focus on painting a subject that I love-waterfalls and rapids. I got interested in the idea of painting streams of water running through wooded scenes.
