A self-taught artist originating from Inverness, Claire spent her early life potato printing at the Ness Bank Nursery. From a very young age, her mother, a Gray's School of Art graduate, encouraged Claire's creative tendencies, yet steered her away from entering the fine art "sausage machine". Consequently, Claire chose to pursue a career in law. Rather than it being her full time occupation, she considers painting to be one of the finest forms of escapism. Registered: 2007-03-12
